About
Project Apunda Africa (Excelling the Girl-Child Dream in Africa), is an Annual Corporate Social Responsibility Caritas Project of MediaRock Communications Ltd in Partnership with GREATNESS Magazine Africa.
The CSR Project is primarily aimed at promoting and alleviating the life of the Girl-Child in Africa.

MediaRock Communications Ltd in Partnership with GREATNESS Magazine Africa has launched the 100 days PROJECT APUNDA AFRICA CSR Caritas initiative and movement across 3 African Countries, namely: Gambia, Ghana and Nigeria respectively from the 24th Oct. 2023 - 1st February 2024.

Did you know that recent statistics have shown that 35% of young girls in Africa are still under the threat of underage marriages due to lack of fund in furthering their Educational pursuit or learning a skill?

Did you know that 55% of the less privileged young girl-child between the ages of 12 years to 18years are highly interested in skilled ventures such as; fabric design, Baking, Hairmaking, Bags design and more but lack the adequate needed fund to pursue their dreams?

Did you know that Survey has also confirmed that 15% of the young girls engaging in Prostitution is not out of greed or wrong association but from seeking assistance from undisciplined men, who give them conditions thereby wrongly influencing them on how to trade sex for money and favours.

Did you also know that 25% of our young girls between the ages of 12-18years in Rural areas in Africa cannot afford Sanitary towels for their monthly menstruation flow rather they use rags?

VISION, MISSION & OBJECTIVES
VISION: A continent where young girls are totally liberated from poor choices or limiting gender beliefs, but rather given the chance to choose their own path and go after it.
MISSION: Our Mission is to positively reach across as many as our young girls in rural areas in African Countries and creating opportunities for them that will help in enriching their mindsets and equipping them to pursue their dreams and achieve their goals to better our Society and the world at large
